Introduction

Animation slots are a problem for many modders. Some have slots that can be used already, while others overwrite existing animate.ids slots. The agreement is that this will and already does cause compatibility problems with some mods when there can effectively be no conflicts if the animations are ordered properly.

Galactygon's Bestial Animations is a key source for placement of all animations using the weapon slots of the various creature animations. This allows the housing of many creature animations in a single slot. However, the problem arises in which slot the animations could and should be housed for use by the community.

The purpose of this article is to minimise such problems, creating a resource that modders can add to and check when adding new animations to be sure that they won't conflict with existing mods.
