Where is Baldur's Gate II (SoA & ToB) set?

Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn and Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal are set in Faerun, in the Forgotten Realms setting. The games themselves are set in and around the region of the Sword Coast, Amn, and (in ToB) Tethyr, as well as several other regions accessable in the games including Watcher's Keep, Brynnlaw and the Underdark.
