A joinable NPC is a character that the Primary Character (PC) has the option of adding to their adventuring party. Putting together a well rounded group can mean the difference between success and failure in the game and each NPC, whether male or female, no matter if they are human, elf or halfling, has the potential to bring a strong set of skills to a group, so choose carefully!

Also keep in mind that the NPCs have their own personalities as well, so you may occasionally hear them gripe about a low reputation, complain that you are taking too long to complete a mission, and in some cases, they may fight amongst themselves, forcing you not only to be a leader, but a babysitter as well.
