Until a more comprehensive and extensive guide is written, for the moment, here are the most useful and basic Wiki codes. If you would like to find more information, go to the MediaWiki Users' Handbook, or see the Wikia tutorial.

Lists
To make a list, just place an asterisk (*) at the beginning of each item, as follows.
Links
To create a link, place [[ ]] around the link you wish to create. For example, [[Project:Sandbox]] creates Project:Sandbox. To make a link but use different text, you would write [[Project:Sandbox|Alternative Text]], which would create Alternative Text.
To create an offsite link, you would write [http://www.linkhere.com Text here], which would create Text here.
To link to a category, use [[:Category:Category Name|Category Name]].
Anywhere you see a red link, you can click it to create that page. Alternatively, you can type the name of the new page in the browser URL box after the forwardslash. Example: http://wiki.spellholdstudios.net/New_Page. Why not start with a wanted page or stub?
Headings
There are several different types of headings; major headings, subheadings and subsubheadings.

Bold and Italic Text
'''Bold text''' will make Bold text; ''Italic text'' will make Italic text.
Categories
To place an article in a category, at the bottom of the page, write [[Category Name]]. Pages can be placed in multiple categories!
