Tazok is the part ogre leader of the bandits in Baldur's Gate and he plays a key part in aiding Sarevok by helping to promote discord and banditry on the roads of the Sword Coast. He is the superior who commands Mulahey and he is deeply involved in the attempted ruin of the Nashkel Mines. Tazok can only be encountered if the player offers to join the bandits and is in turn accepted and brought to the Bandit Camp. At first he announces that the party is to be destroyed and proceeds to engage the party in battle. If the group can succeed in causing enough damage to the half-ogre, they are awarded full membership into the bandit ranks and allowed to wander unmolested through the campground. Tazok disappears soon after for Baldur's Gate, but the group has the opportunity to fight him again in a later encounter.
